Studio Membership

Have you taken a pottery class and fallen for clay? Our studio membership allows for more self-paced, hands-on time with clay and provides time for project work & practice. Whether you're new to clay - or have been slinging mud for a while - we'd love for Mud Slinger Studio to be your new creative home!

What's Included?

​

• Unlimited clay is included in your membership! We use Standard 112 as our studio clay body.

• Each membership comes with a full shelf to store your pottery pieces and personal tools.

• You have free access to our studio-made glazes. We have an interesting assortment of colors and finishes.

• All bisque & glaze firings of pieces fully made in our studio are included! 

 

What Do I Wear? 

​

• While playing with clay your clothes WILL get clay on them. All members are encouraged to wear easily washable clothing & shoes and consider bringing a washable apron with you. Your apron is NOT to be left on your shelf. Please take it home and wash it.

• Leave the perfumes & fragrances at home please. Many people (including us) have allergies or sensitivities to artificial scents. So that everyone can enjoy clear breathing - we kindly ask that you do not wear perfume or scented anything in the studio. This includes creams, lotions & hand sanitizers too (these affect the clay!).

• Mondays - 2-8pm

• Wednesdays​ - 2-8pm

• Saturdays - 4-8pm

** Hours can change throughout the year depending on art show schedules. Changes will be posted in the studio well in advance.

• ​​Memberships renew the same day every consecutive month.

• We get it that life changes! Memberships are cancellable anytime before your next billing cycle.

Location

 

Mud Slinger Studio is located just west of Gainesville in the Jonesville area of Newberry. The studio is located on a farm (indoors in the A/C)! There is ample parking and easy drop off.​ The studio address is 16919 SW 15th Ave, Newberry, FL.
